So, Tap That had a little bit of a problem this week where part of the game just broke, probably due to bad coding on my part. It could also have been to do with Unity breaking something as when I tried working from a backup, the I couldn’t export it anymore. Who knows why.

Anyways, I tried debugging the issue, I tried fixing the errors I was getting and to yet here I am still unable to publish the application with the fixes. I am blaming Gradle on this one though as the error that keeps appearing is always related to Gradle. Stupid Gradle!

I have therefore, come to the conclusion that this version of Tap That is no longer going to be supported and that I will therefore be rebuilding the game. This will give me opportunity to refactor a lot of my code and make improvements to the UI and general game play.

Please, follow my journey while I rebuild my game for the Third time. It’s fun to code and from what I’ve learned, I am confident I can make this game better and more efficient than it’s ever been.

Tap That version 2.0.0 is now under development and if you want to be a part of the beta tests, once it’s really please get in touch and let me know.

Thank you and as always… Keep playing games!
